Roxette's, Spending My Time

I couldn't sleep last night. I turned in really early. I wanted to put an end to all my thoughts for the day.

I lied in bed, tossing and turning. Finding every position uncomfortable. To the extent of kicking my comforter off me cause I felt like something was suffocating me. Annoyed, I got out of bed, turned on the lamp and did some reading. The more I read, the more I felt I couldn't sleep.

I needed something to soothe me to a deep slumber. I turned on my PC for some music. My player had Roxette's 'Spending My Time' lined up.

I went to my bed, placed the comforter at the foot of the mattress neatly, hugged my bolster and fell asleep listening to the soulful tunes of Roxette.

Funny how "fall asleep to the sound, of tears of a clown' kept reverberating in my mind.
